Why do people like learning but avoid doing homework?
When we were kids we were curious and wanted to know
about each and everything that we see in our daily life. At that time we didn’t
cared about anything other than learning and we definitely didn’t associated it
with performance or marks.
But as we grow up our parents and teachers put
pressure on us for performing better in class. If we didn’t performed well we
will looked down from our peers, friends and parents. All we wanted was to
learn but from our own choice but we are pushed hard as we grow older. There is
term called peer pressure which means that our work gets affected due to the
advises, choices, thoughts and the company we keep.
If you live among free minded people they will
encourage you to study about music or arts and do whatever you want.
But if you live among narrow minded who have been
following their forefathers. They will tell you to study a subject or field
which will give you higher chance of landing a job with high pay for e.g.
business administration, economics, marketing etc.
If one wants to become newspaper seller or shoe
mender he/she will be shown as an example to other young children that if you don’t
study you will grow up to become like him.
